Learning to Train (All Ages) is a program which all new athletes must take when they enter the SVSP program.  The Learning to Train program is based around a skill acquisition checklist.
Training to Train (Grades 6-9)  is the athlete's first introduction to how to train. This is the age when they introduce free weights, as well as continue to utilize implement such as medicine balls, stability balls, and TRX trainers to strengthen the athlete and teach effective movement patterns.  The emphasis is on QUALITY of movement, not QUANTITY of movement.
Training to Compete (Grades 9-12): Training to Compete focuses on the same concepts of Training to Train, only with an increase in intensity, an increase in weight being lifted, and an increase in the amount of time spent training in a sport.

The TRAIN to GAIN program
is unique and is a wonderful means for athletes and their parents to gain insights into proper nutrition and making applications they can utilize immediately.  Train to Gain is a four-week weight-gain training program at St. Vincent Sports Performance.   Designed by a licensed sports dietitian, this cutting-edge program helps young athletes increase their weight and lean muscle mass safely, at half the price of individual nutrition coaching. The world of high school sports is fiercely competitive. To gain and edge, an athlete must have the size and strength to hold his ground against opponents. In four weeks, SVSP athletes walk away equipped with the tools to be bigger, stronger, and more competitive - not just in the immediate future, but for the rest of their athletic career.  Ask for PSC special pricing. Regular price $299.
